Today is the start of a new feature on the blog showcasing some amazing talent from some great east midlands suppliers, and were kicking off with a corker, I’m pleased to introduce you to Stationery creators Pocket Typewriter
I got the chance to ask Leckie of Pocket Typewriter a few questions about this creative company;
What can Pocket Typewriter offer its clients?
We offer a full range of wedding stationery starting from your save the date cards and invitations (maybe adding in a delicious little bespoke matching booklet) down to the delightful little details such as personalised favours, gorgeous love tags and creative table plans. We also love working on developing new ideas and so if you have a specific idea just chat to us about it and we can work with you to create something exciting and unique for your special day!

What’s your style?
I would say we offer a romantic heartwarming style, with a quirky twist. We are inspired by everything around us that we
have so many ideas popping out our heads we can’t quite keep up sometimes!!! We put our heart and soul into what we do, so all our wedding stationery has that extra loving touch, giving that personal feel that is so important for your special day.

So, lets find out about the duo?
We are Jack and Leckie, brother and sister stationery designing team based in the Midlands
Leckie
Experience: worked in Marketing for 2 years and then buying for companies such as Next for 3 years. Then a proposal and an invitation design (by Jack) later I packed it all in for a career in Wedding Stationery and designing, developing and creating all things delightful. For me it’s the excitement of what we are able to create out of paper, the texture, colour and feel……I haven’t looked back! Now married with a little baby on the way!!!
Jack
Experience: Studied Art and specialised in decorative arts. I have always enjoyed print which lead to me starting my own T-shirt design company. Then came that design for Leckie’s Wedding invitations which ignited my ultimate passion for illustration. I just get so excited when all my doodling comes together!

So what’s coming up for Pocket Typewriter?
We have a very exciting year ahead of us, with not only me (Leckie) becoming a mum and Jack an uncle, but we are also working with lots of new brides and grooms!
In July we are launching our greetings card collection at the Harrogate Home & Gift Show, so if anyone is looking to stock some unique illustrated cards please do get in touch
Thanks Leckie & Jack, Some exciting things coming up for these guys and I can’t wait to see the greeting cards……to see more of their collections hop on over to their place on the www, you won’t be disappointed.
